If you have a weak stomach, don’t read the following.
So last night by the time I got home, I was totally exhausted and really had to pee.
I go in the bathroom without turning on the light and pee.
When I get up, I notice my urine is really, really dark. Being the nursing student I am, I begin to have a minor panic attack.
Seeing how my right kidney is already a little shot, I was beginning to freak out that it was finally going. I knew it. I had acute glomerulonephritis. I’m going to have to be in dialysis for the rest of my life.
Then I really started flipping out. Dark or tea-colored urine is a sign of Hepatitus. My liver is going now. Sweet Jesus.
I go out in the living room and ask Luann what was going on.
She had poured coffee out in the toilet.
I can now report that my heart has fallen from my throat back to my thoracic cavity, my BP is back to normal, and my urine its normal color.
Sorry for the TMI, but I warned you.
